Planning a Photographic Shoot - P2(a)

The product which I have decided to do is a magazine cover like the example, which have been taken from this magazine: Rugby World. I have plan to do a photo shoot in the studio which means I will take pictures with the use of white screen and then will edit it. There are going to be from 5 - 15 photos of a different rugby models, which will show anger, passionate and desire to play an international rugby. Some of those pictures will be cropped and combined with a variation of different backgrounds, but some of them will be a normal photos with some kind of different effects on their faces.

What is a media product?

This question has a multitude of valid answers, but there is one that I find useful for thinking about new media: a product is a practice. By this I mean a socially-learned recurrent experience that can turn into a routine and a social reference point; something you learn to do from observing others and can refer to in conversation and be understood.

Rugby World is a monthly rugby union magazine running since October 1960.It is published monthly by IPC Media and edited by Owain Jones who took over from long standing editor Paul Morgan in January 2012. Paul Morgan was long considered a leader in the industry, the magazine is the world's top-selling rugby magazine and has benefited from a worldwide rise in interest in rugby following the 2003 Rugby Union World Cup.

Fitness and purpose: it to create an photoshoot which could be used as a magazine cover. This man is going to be the main purpose for people to buy a magazine. Therefore, they have to make the picture as good as possible in order to succeed their aim - to sell the magazine. In the picture, as he is a rugby player, he have to look scary and moody to make a right impression on the people. Therefore, he is looking at the camera rough.

Target audience.

In marketing and advertising, a target audience is a specific group of people within the target market at which a product or the marketing message of a product is aimed at. For example, if a company sells new diet programs for men with heart disease problems (target market) the communication may be aimed at the spouse (target audience) who takes care of the nutrition plan of their spouse and child.

A target audience can be formed of people of a certain age group, gender, marital status, etc., e.g. teenagers, females, single people, etc. A combination of factors, e.g. men aged 20–30 is a common target audience. Other groups, although not the main focus, may also be interested. Discovering the appropriate target market and determining the target audience is one of the most important activities in marketing management. Perhaps the biggest mistake it's possible to make in targeting is trying to reach everybody and ending up appealing to no-one.

My target audience are all king of year group which love sport and support a certain team.
